While 71% of young people from Mayenne don’t plan to work in industry, the institutional players of Mayenne are mobilizing to try to answer this image deficit for industry and implement innovative actions which speak more to youth.
Thus, Mayenne Expansion and UIMM 53 organized a departmental video competition on the industry and its businesses, with the goal to inspire young people to get interested in the industry and change their ideas about this sector. Students of higher education were encouraged to depart from traditional media communication in favor of an offbeat and humorous approach.
Selha participated in this operation by welcoming second year engineering school students from ESIEA (Electronic, Automatic & IT College) of Laval, specialising in digital areas so they could film their video.
